There can be many answers to this question, and for each it will be different. After all, you first need to understand its causes. The reasons may be different, for example:
-
processing; -
shift times that don't fit with your biorhythms;
-
lack of a plan and motivation; -
broken balance between personal life and work; -
toxic attitude towards the profession; -
bad results; -
inability to build personal boundaries; -
excessive attention to the words of the haters.
What can help in these situations?

1. Working hours according to your biorhythms. If your biggest desire while streaming is to sleep, this is not your time. This kind of self-abuse interferes with productivity and can lead to burnout in the long run.
2. Number of online. Stability and an adequate number of hours of operation is important. But in order to maintain this stability for a long time, you need not to overdo it. Make a schedule that will allow you to remain productive and not lead to the depletion of physical, psychological strength in a week, a month. Do not forget about the balance between work and personal life – you should have time for yourself.
3. Intrinsic motivation. External motivation (the need to pay a mortgage, etc.) is often not enough to avoid burnout. It is very important to have plans, to understand why you need all this, and where you are going. Have goals for earning, developing your pages, spending 😉
4. Attitude to work. On the one hand, society and even some colleagues can broadcast views about the immorality and uselessness of webcam. There is talk that “no one goes into this area from a great mind”, and that, in general, “this work is absolutely forced”, if there were any alternatives, “no one would choose webcam”. On the other hand, people often broadcast extremely negative views towards people on the other side of the screen – customers. All memes are “scary”, “perverts” and “disgusting people”. Of course, everyone chooses for himself how to relate to the phenomena around him. But it is important to understand that such a toxic attitude towards the field and customers hits, first of all, not on them, but on you. It is much easier to engage in webcamming, and indeed anything in general, realizing the usefulness of this activity and perceiving it as helping other people. There are many lonely people in the world. Many of them come to our chats. This helps them relax, feel needed, realize fantasies that are not solved in reality. Many of the memes are great guys and good conversationalists. Yes, there are those who behave disgustingly, trying to offend, deceive. But it is important to understand that there are such people in absolutely any field. People who do not work in webcam also face them. In our work, for such characters, a ban function is provided. Do you hate your industry and clients? Perhaps then the answer to the question “how not to burn out” lies in the plane of changing the sphere. And that’s okay too. If you like what you do, we recommend that you form a significant part of your social circle from like-minded people. Try to create positive emotions and associations related to work. Avoid reinforcing negative associations.
5. Creative approach. Routine kills enthusiasm and breeds boredom. Add creativity to your work: scripts, costumes, music – try to make something interesting for memes and for yourself. On our channel, we gave examples of how such a stream could look like: themed, Christmas, Halloween, Valentine’s Day, for those who love the 80s, if you want to make cosplay.
6. Personal boundaries in communication with members. Build predictable relationships with members. This applies to both time and execution list. Be available during the understandable limited hours of your work. Do not engage in personal activities during working hours and do not work in your free time. Don’t do what you don’t like or don’t like – instead, it’s better to actively promote what you really like.
